High-Quality DIN 6923 Flange Nuts Manufacturer in China - Trusted Suppliers from Factory with Grade 4.8 to 12.9
Product Introduction
Introduction & Materials
The basic knowledge of flange nuts is introduced as follows: flange nuts can be made of iron or stainless steel. But iron is more commonly used. And it can also be electroplated according to the color requirements of the customer.
There are generally environmentally friendly and non-environmentally friendly electroplating treatments available depending on application demands.
Usage Characteristics of Flange Nuts
Operation & ApplicationUse a pipe cutter or grinding wheel cutting machine (with dedicated cutting blade) to vertically cut stainless steel pipes according to required length, clean burrs at the end, and round them.
Left and right conical flange plates (with grooves designed for embedding flange gaskets on both sides) are welded to the pipe ports using tungsten inert gas arc welding (TIG welding).
Double-sided flange sealing gaskets are lined securely between the left and right flange pieces to ensure complete seal integrity.
Clamp the two flanges with clamps, then use fastening screws (hexagon socket bolts) or a fastening handle to clamp the flange securely for a reliable connection.
Integrated Washer Functionality: Flange nuts can be used as an integrated washer because there is a toothed round flange face at one end.
How to Use: First find the hole where the nut can be installed, insert it into position, and rotate clockwise slowly until tightened. Check position stability and adjust if needed.
Assembly Optimization: Flange nuts are widely used with aluminum profile connection angles and T-bolts to quickly assemble frame structures. The wide contact surface provides excellent anti-loosening performance compared to standard nuts.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Common Inquiries & Technical DetailsQ: What materials are flange nuts typically made from?
Flange nuts are primarily manufactured from iron (carbon steel) and stainless steel, with iron being the most commonly utilized material in industrial applications.
Q: What are the surface finish and electroplating options?
Surface treatments include environmentally friendly and standard electroplating options such as colored zinc, nickel, blue zinc, black zinc, and white zinc based on corrosion resistance needs.
Q: What is the main advantage of the integrated flange face?
The toothed circular flange acts as an integrated washer, distributing clamping pressure across a wider surface area and significantly improving anti-loosening performance under vibration.
Q: How do flange nuts integrate with aluminum profiles?
When paired with T-bolts and connection angles, flange nuts allow quick, rigid assembly of aluminum frame structures while resisting joint loosening during extended use.
Q: What standard sizes and thread pitches are available?
Standard metric sizes range from M5 to M20 in both coarse and fine thread variations to meet standard fastening and engineering requirements.
Q: How is a secure flange nut assembly completed?
Ensure aligned hole placement, thread the nut clockwise until hand-tight, verify seating across the joint face, and torque fully using standard hex tooling or clamp handles.
