High-Strength Spring Pads from China - Leading Suppliers & Factory for Reliable Bolt Connections

Spring Washer Usage Guide
For general bolt connections, it is essential to use flat washers under the bolt head and nut to enhance the pressure-bearing area effectively. This practice is crucial for ensuring durability and stability in connections provided by trusted China suppliers and manufacturers.
In applications where bolts and anchor bolts require anti-loosening features, it is advisable to implement the proper anti-loosening devices, specifically placing the nut or spring washer on the nut's side, for optimal function. This guidance is pivotal for quality assurance from reliable factories in China.
When managing bolt connections that endure dynamic loads or are classified as high-priority components, positioning spring washers according to design specifications is necessary, with the spring washer placed on the nut's side to maintain integrity, a hallmark of products from top suppliers in China.
For connections involving I-beams and channel steels, utilizing inclined washers during inclined plane connections guarantees that the bearing surface of the nut and bolt head remains perpendicular to the screw, a critical detail for achieving efficient and resilient setups in constructions supplied by leading factories in China.

    1. Blackening (blue)

The fasteners to be blackened are placed in the solution tank (145±5 °C) of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium nitrite (NaNO2) oxidant to heat and oxidize, so that the surface of the metal fastener generates a magnetic ferric tetroxide (Fe3O4) film, the thickness is generally 0.6-0.8μm, black or blue-black. The HG/20613-2009 and HG/T20634-2009 standards for fasteners for pressure vessels require bluing treatment.

    2. Phosphating

Phosphating is a process of chemical and electrochemical reaction to form a phosphate chemical conversion film, and the phosphate conversion film formed is called a phosphate conversion film. The main purpose of phosphating is to provide protection for the base metal and prevent the metal from being corroded to a certain extent, to improve the adhesion and anti-corrosion ability of the paint film layer before painting, and to reduce friction and lubrication in the metal cold working process. Large-diameter double-ended studs for pressure vessels are required to be phosphated.

    3. Hot-dip galvanizing

Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the derusted steel components into the molten zinc melted at a high temperature of about 600 °C, so that the surface of the steel components is attached to the zinc layer, and the thickness of the zinc layer shall not be less than 65μm for thin plates below 5mm, and not less than 86μm for thick plates of 5mm and above. So as to play the purpose of anti-corrosion.

    4. Dacromet

Dacromet is the transliteration and abbreviation of DACROMET, referred to as Dacromet, Dacromet, Dicron. Named zinc-chromium coating in China, it is a new type of anticorrosive coating with zinc powder, aluminum powder, chromic acid and deionized water as the main components. There is no hydrogen embrittlement problem and the torque-preload consistency is good. Regardless of the environmental concerns of hexavalent chromium, it is actually the most suitable for high-strength fasteners with high corrosion protection requirements.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the thickness of the film layer formed during the blackening process?

The thickness of the magnetic ferric tetroxide (Fe3O4) film generated on the surface of the metal fastener during the blackening process is generally 0.6-0.8μm.

Which standards require bluing treatment for pressure vessel fasteners?

The HG/20613-2009 and HG/T20634-2009 standards specifically require bluing treatment for fasteners used in pressure vessels.

What are the primary benefits of phosphating metal fasteners?

Phosphating provides protection for the base metal to prevent corrosion, improves paint film adhesion and anti-corrosion ability before painting, and reduces friction and lubrication during metal cold working.

What is the required zinc layer thickness in hot-dip galvanizing?

For hot-dip galvanizing, the zinc layer thickness must not be less than 65μm for thin plates below 5mm, and not less than 86μm for thick plates of 5mm and above.

What are the main components of a Dacromet coating?

Dacromet, also known as zinc-chromium coating in China, is composed mainly of zinc powder, aluminum powder, chromic acid, and deionized water.

Why is Dacromet suitable for high-strength fasteners with high corrosion protection requirements?

Dacromet is highly suitable because it does not cause hydrogen embrittlement problems and maintains a good torque-preload consistency, making it ideal for demanding high-strength applications.
