High-Strength Spring Washers from China | Reliable Suppliers & Factory for Bolt Connections

**Spring Washer Usage Guide**

,

As a leading supplier and factory in China, we provide high-quality spring washers designed for various applications. Here’s how to effectively use spring washers:, **General Bolt Connections**: For standard bolt connections, it is essential to use flat washers under the bolt head and nut. This increases the pressure-bearing area and enhances stability, **Anti-Loosening Applications**: In cases where bolts and anchor bolts are required to resist loosening, utilize our specialized anti-loosening nuts or spring washers. Ensure that the spring washer is positioned on the nut side for optimal performance, **Dynamic Loads and Critical Parts**: For connections subjected to dynamic loads or in important applications, placement of spring washers should follow the specific design requirements, with the washer always situated on the side of the nut to ensure maximum functionality, **I-Beams and Channel Steels**: When working with inclined plane connections in I-beams and channel steels, our inclined washers are recommended. They guarantee that the bearing surfaces of the nut and bolt head remain perpendicular to the screw, enhancing safety and reliability.

    1. Blackening (blue)

The fasteners to be blackened are placed in the solution tank (145±5 °C) of sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and sodium nitrite (NaNO2) oxidant to heat and oxidize, so that the surface of the metal fastener generates a magnetic ferric tetroxide (Fe3O4) film, the thickness is generally 0.6-0.8μm, black or blue-black. The HG/20613-2009 and HG/T20634-2009 standards for fasteners for pressure vessels require bluing treatment.

    2. Phosphating

Phosphating is a process of chemical and electrochemical reaction to form a phosphate chemical conversion film, and the phosphate conversion film formed is called a phosphate conversion film. The main purpose of phosphating is to provide protection for the base metal and prevent the metal from being corroded to a certain extent, to improve the adhesion and anti-corrosion ability of the paint film layer before painting, and to reduce friction and lubrication in the metal cold working process. Large-diameter double-ended studs for pressure vessels are required to be phosphated.

    3. Hot-dip galvanizing

Hot-dip galvanizing is to immerse the derusted steel components into the molten zinc melted at a high temperature of about 600 °C, so that the surface of the steel components is attached to the zinc layer, and the thickness of the zinc layer shall not be less than 65μm for thin plates below 5mm, and not less than 86μm for thick plates of 5mm and above. So as to play the purpose of anti-corrosion.

    4. Dacromet

Dacromet is the transliteration and abbreviation of DACROMET, referred to as Dacromet, Dacromet, Dicron. Named zinc-chromium coating in China, it is a new type of anticorrosive coating with zinc powder, aluminum powder, chromic acid and deionized water as the main components. There is no hydrogen embrittlement problem and the torque-preload consistency is good. Regardless of the environmental concerns of hexavalent chromium, it is actually the most suitable for high-strength fasteners with high corrosion protection requirements.

    Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is the thickness of the film produced by the blackening process?

The thickness of the magnetic ferric tetroxide (Fe3O4) film generated during the blackening process is generally 0.6-0.8μm.

Q2: Which standards require bluing treatment for pressure vessel fasteners?

The HG/20613-2009 and HG/T20634-2009 standards for fasteners used in pressure vessels require bluing treatment.

Q3: What is the primary purpose of the phosphating process?

The main purpose of phosphating is to protect the base metal from corrosion, improve the adhesion and anti-corrosion ability of the paint film layer, and reduce friction during cold working.

Q4: How thick must the zinc layer be in hot-dip galvanizing?

The zinc layer thickness must not be less than 65μm for thin plates below 5mm, and not less than 86μm for thick plates of 5mm and above.

Q5: Why is Dacromet highly suitable for high-strength fasteners?

Dacromet does not cause hydrogen embrittlement, offers excellent torque-preload consistency, and provides high corrosion protection, making it ideal for high-strength fasteners.

Q6: What are the main components of a Dacromet coating?

Dacromet is a zinc-chromium coating composed mainly of zinc powder, aluminum powder, chromic acid, and deionized water.
